10 NEW MOTORCYCLES BROKEN IN

12/11/2009 - IMTBike has just bought 10 brand new bikes for to its fleet, a mix of the following models: F650GS, F800ST and R1200GS. Some F650GS are the new colour available from BMW, “lava orange” and some F800ST come in “champagne” color.

Before making its new bikes available to its customers, IMTBike carefully prepares them. First of all the break-in is done by expert motorcyclists to verify possible problems, failures, etc. After that, the bikes go through a complete revision in a BMW dealership. All for the safety of our customers and to maintain the quality of our services.

The break-in of these 10 motorcycles was done on Saturday, October 31st, by very experienced riders like our tour guides Christophe Larrosa and Mikel Mitxelena, Gustavo Cuervo (Motociclismo magazine editor), Montxo González (Movilnorte BMW dealership director).

The day chosen for the break-in couldn´t be have been better. The weather was perfect for riding and the fall colors made the landscape breathtaking. The group started the route at the Movilnorte BMW Dealership at 08:30 AM and rode through the Sierra de Gredos all the way to La Alberca, close to the Portuguese border. There they enjoyed exquisite food in a well-known restaurant. The route finished at 06:00 PM and the group rode a total of 700 kilometers.
